This is can be purchased by itself but it is INCLUDED with TMJ/D registration and strongly suggested to attend if possible.

If you really want to provide results for your clients, it starts with confidence. Knowing where to put your hands inside someone’s mouth takes time and understanding bony landmarks and key areas to avoid.

This engaging afternoon session is dedicated to facial muscles and recognizing visual patterns, understanding intra-oral spaces, mastering gentle but firm touch for hyoid assisting muscles, giving students a deeper anatomical understanding through palpation before hands-on class work begins. Skipping out on this will have you a bit lost the next day as we build off of bony landmarks covered in this FREE to you course.

TMJ/D Intra-Oral & Bamboo Buccal Face Sculpt - 8CE each, SAVE $50 when you take both classes

Discover the foundation of effective TMJ/D treatment in this introductory intra-oral course designed for massage and bodywork professionals. Learn how cervical dysfunction contributes to TMJ/D, explore deep cervical and infra/suprahyoid structures, and gain hands-on experience with intra-oral techniques for pain and dysfunction relief. We’ll also address facial asymmetry and introductory buccal techniques to support balanced, functional outcomes. This course serves as the prerequisite for Bamboo Buccal training.

Day 1: TMJ/D Intra-oral

• Identify and Assess: Palpation skills are key to providing proper treatment for deep cervical, infra/suprahyoid and intra-oral structures. Before moving on to technique, we will make sure everyone feels very comfortable with this.

• Master effective External and Intra-oral massage techniques for TMJ/D relief

• Address Facial asymmetry through targeted manual Buccal techniques

  STUDENT PLEASE BRING:

  • Massage table, bolster and stool

  • Set of sheets & anything that might make you more comfortable (water, snacks, blanket)

  • Lotion/cream/oil

Day 2: Bamboo Buccal Face Sculpt *TMJ prerequisite-must have intra-oral training to take this class

• Amplify your results from day 1 by incorporating heated bamboo tools customized for facial massage and targeted Intra-oral work to MELT tension and sculpt bony landmarks

• Use heated tools to provide specific points to help drain the eye area of unwanted fluid and tension. Use gua sha cold tools to further sculpt the face and depuff the sinus/eye cavity.

• Finish with Lymphatic Facial Cupping for optimal results

• Set of sheets, 1 hand towel, 2 wash cloths & anything that might make you more comfortable (water, snacks, blanket)

Bamboo Bodyworx will supply: Latex Free Gloves & Kleenex for intra-oral work, bamboo tools & heaters, facial cups & cold tools

Policies:

Cancellation Policy-

• Cancel more than 30 days before class: Full refund minus a $25 administrative fee.

• Cancel within 30 days: Tuition is nonrefundable but may be applied toward another class for up to 1 year from the original class date.

Bad Weather Policy- If Bamboo Bodyworx cancels or reschedules due to weather/road conditions: Full refund issued. If class is held but you cannot attend due to weather/roads: Refund minus a $35 administrative fee.
